Paper details A written research paper of 10-12 pages (double-spaced, one-sided), drawing on multiple primary cultural and secondary scholarly sources to explore the work of a contemporary artist or artists to be chosen in consultation with instructor, which will allow investigation of significant aspects of importance to cultural, political and social histories of portions of the larger region known as “the Middle East.” Based on my proposal to write the paper please.

Suggestion:1) Identify additional secondary sources that focus on the contemporary aspect. 2) Narrow the field somewhat by choosing a focus on a limited number of artists and their projects, perhaps also narrowing the geographical focus as well to concentrate on a specific country of origin or smaller region within the larger “Islamic world” (which arguably could be extended to include places far outside the Arab World, Iran or Turkey such as Indonesia or Pakistan). https://youtu.be/bSe2bTN_Dzw
