Identification of determinant factors
A research paper typically includes the following sections: A. Title Page B. Abstract C. Introduction D. Literature Review E. Methodology F. Findings and Discussions G. Conclusions H. References I. Appendices. This project document discusses the fundamental requirements for the following sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings and Discussions, and Conclusions. INTRODUCTION The introduction section sets the stage for the study by summarizing, integrating, and critically evaluating the extant knowledge in the relevant area. It addresses three major issues. Firstly, it describes the topic and the purpose of the research.
Identification of determinant factors
Authors should clearly articulate what they will be doing in their study. Secondly, the introduction section presents why the topic and the purpose are important and worth reading about. It should convince the readers that the research is important for other researchers, or practitioners, or both. Finally, it should provide an overview (a “road map”) of the paper so that readers can anticipate and absorb each of the sections that follows. LITERATURE REVIEW Adequate literature review is a basic requirement for all research papers. This section provides an analysis of prior research and knowledge regarding the phenomenon and incorporates them into the current study.
Identification of determinant factors
Based on the review of relevant literature, this section provides a concise description of the definitions of key constructs and their interrelationships. The researchers, thereby, articulate their conceptual and/or research model based on the extant literature. This section also describes how the current study links to the larger body of knowledge on the phenomenon being studied. METHODOLOGY The methodology section provides a clear and complete description of the study’s research strategy and a justification for the research strategy. That is, this section describes how the research was carried out and why it was carried out the way it was carried out.
Identification of determinant factors
Authors must provide a clear and complete descriptions of the following: the sampling frame, sampling procedures (or site selection criteria), characteristics of the entities comprising the sample, characteristics of respondents or subjects, how access to sites and participants was gained, logistics and timing of data collection, operationalization of research variables, instrumentation (instructions, measurement scales, interview guides), the psychometric properties of a study’s measures (i.e., the reliability and validity of the instrument), data analysis techniques used, and how the research questions (or hypotheses) are tested using these techniques.
Identification of determinant factors
It is strongly recommended that a copy of the instrumentation (survey instructions and items, interview guides, etc.) be included as an appendix. FINDINGS and DISCUSSIONS The “Findings and Discussions” section describes the results of analyses performed on collected data and interprets the meaning of these results. The findings must be interpreted with regard to how they impact both theory and practice, how they impact the research model of the study, and what they imply for future research. However, when interpreting the study’s findings, authors should be careful not to overstate their findings.
Identification of determinant factors
CONCLUSION The conclusion section should not provide a summary of the article. Rather, it should describe the contributions of the study to scholarly knowledge and to practice through the ideas and findings that have been presented in the paper. Authors should clearly articulate what the article has accomplished and why these accomplishments are important. Thus, this section provides a summary of the key messages (not the summary of the article) that the authors want readers to take away from the article. However, authors must not introduce new ideas or concepts in the conclusion section. https://youtu.be/Ip3X9LOh2dk

Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment 2022 Best
The Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment is the first part of the planning process. Based on the hazards that you identified in Steps 1 and 2 homework assignments, you will write a narrative description of the hazards based on the dangers they present to the city of Green River.
Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment
Instructions You must first understand the threats to the City of Green River to adequately plan for how you would respond. The Hazard and Vulnerability Analysis or Risk Assessment is the first part of the planning process. Based on the hazards that you identified in Steps 1 and 2 homework assignments, you will write a narrative description of the hazards based on the dangers they present to the city of Green River. Your written product (see page guidance below) should demonstrate that you understand both the hazards and their consequences that may affect the city. Although in the real world, you would interview key individuals in the city, and research possible hazards from historical documents, or other sources.
Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment
Here you will base most of your information on the tour of the city I provided you in the Green River video. You may also supplement this for specific hazards by researching hazard incidence on a nearby location in NW Oregon that would be close to what Green River should experience. Make sure to include those references at the end of your analysis. It is ok to get ideas on crafting your paragraphs from other online hazard analysis/risk assessment documents. As a matter of fact, I encourage you to view other online documents from city/county hazard analyses/risk assessments around the country. However, be sure not to copy and paste information from other analyses documents for this assignment.
Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment
This would be an honor code violation. In compiling your document, you should review and demonstrate your knowledge of at least the first four (4) steps of the hazards analysis process as discussed in class and from your class notes. Hazard and Vulnerability Analysis Process 1. Identify the hazards 2. Profile each hazard 3. Determine vulnerability 4. Determine risk 5. Determine consequences/scenarios 6. Identify capabilities and shortfalls 7. Apply strategic planning process Suggested format for the analysis (Step 3) follows: § Requirement – 3-5 pages, single-spaced, 1” margins, Times New Roman 12 point font.
Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment
For heading/subheadings use distinctive font style, e.g., bold, italic, slightly larger font, etc. to make it easier to read. Include double or triple spaces between hazard descriptions. (Note: Make sure to title/format the analysis as you would if you were handing it into the Director of Emergency Management, not a class assignment…consider this a professional document § General description/background of the analysis and methodology used to analyze the hazards. § Description of the City of Green River to include physical description, main features, population, etc.
Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment
Identify and provide a rank prioritized (by rank order or by low, moderate, and high ratings) listing of hazards to include 1) name of hazard; 2) hazard description and assessment summary as it specifically relates to the organization/facility(s). Please identify and describe only hazards that are appropriate for the city. Again, what you identified in Steps 1 and 2 should form the basis of this analysis, taking in consideration any grading comments of course. If you have any questions, please contact your Professor as soon as possible. https://youtu.be/2B823bEBKGU
Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment
Tips for Success: 1) Hazard Identification and Profiling: If you are writing narrative summaries on less than 5 hazards, you will want to consider whether you have identified macro and related hazards that the city faces. It is okay to identify a large number of hazards. However, you only want to discuss the most relevant ones in Step 3. 2) Writing your Analysis: Make sure you relate each hazard to the city by explaining how and why it poses a threat. Include factors that contribute to the hazard being of concern based on the first 4 steps in the hazard and vulnerability analysis process above.

Topic: Ethical consumption: comparing products, comparing ratings. Instructions For this assignment, you will explore “civil regulation” of CSR in practice. Your task is to choose two branded products and see how “ethical” they are according to the ratings provided by following sites: Good Shopping Guide [GS] https://thegoodshoppingguide.com/, [methodology] Good on You [GY] Ethical ratings on fashion and apparel https://goodonyou.eco/, [rating system guide] Shop Ethical [SE] https://www.ethical.org.au/theguide/ [criteria] Please choose two items that are each rated by at least 2 of the 3 of the sites.
Ethical consumption
To allow for a systematic comparison, the 2 brands should belong to the same category of product, and should both be rated by all or both of the sites you are using. If a product you are considering is not rated by any of the sites or only by one site, choose another product. The assignment will be more relevant and fun if you choose products that you own or have considered buying, but this is not necessary. You should also choose a pair of products one of which is rated as more ethical/responsible than the other by at least one of the websites. https://youtu.be/GAG-t-kXcqE
Ethical consumption
It is even better if the websites disagree with one another about the relative ratings, because that will enable you to compare the websites’ methodologies as well as the brands/products themselves. Copy the 8-question worksheet below into a Word file and write your answer immediately below each question (except for question 1, where you should fill in the table provided). The worksheet indicates the weight out of 15 for each question. The length of the answers should be roughly proportionate to the weight (this is a general guideline, not a mechanical requirement.) Do not include an overall introduction or conclusion.
Ethical consumption
Submission instructions As with the midterm exam, your identifying information should appear only in a separate page at the end of the paper (not at the beginning, nor in a running head, nor in the document (file) name). The assignment should be uploaded to Turnitin (via Moodle) by 11:59 pm on February 14. The file uploaded to Turnitin should be saved as a Word document or as a PDF, because Turnitin can’t open some other formats. Note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the version of the paper you submit and upload is your intended final version.
Ethical consumption
Please double check before submitting. Turnitin will allow you to re-submit up to, but not after, the deadline. You are therefore advised to upload before the deadline and look at the originality report to check that all quoted material is properly cited and that no more than about a quarter of the paper at most consists of quotations. After the deadline, the system will only allow you to upload only if you have not already done so, and only once, and that submission will be flagged as late. A late penalty of 0.2/20 per day will be deducted.

Research Literacy In Social Science. 2022 Best
This assignment explores research Literacy In Social Science. Overview Identifying a research problem is the first step toward a creating research question.
Research Literacy In Social Science.
One of the most effective ways of identifying a research problem is through conducting preliminary research to identify research methodology trends in the field. As you identify these trends, new research problems will begin to emerge to you. Prompt In this assignment, you will identify the research problem you will later turn into a research question in Project Three: Research Questions, and you will consider how it relates to your field of study. To eventually craft this complex research question, you will need to conduct preliminary research to see what has already been studied in your field.
Research Literacy In Social Science.
This step will help you identify trends in research problems and methodologies so you can hone your own research problem into a well-thought-out and complex question. A well-developed research question is complex in nature, and a complex question is best derived from each type of research study. Therefore, in Project One: Research Methods in Social Sciences, which you will complete in Module Four, you will need to identify research studies of each type that will help you eventually develop your research question for Project Three in Module Eight.
Research Literacy In Social Science.
To support your identification and evaluation of each type of research study in your Project One, complete the following: Research Problem Identification The first step to creating a research question is to choose a research problem to investigate further. Using the preliminary research you have already conducted, identify a potential research problem. As you consider your research problem selection, answer each of the following: What is the research problem you would like to explore further? How does your research problem relate to your field of study?
Research Literacy In Social Science.
Methodology Trends: Qualitative, Quantitative, and Mixed-Methodology Approaches Now that you have identified your potential research problem, think about methodology trends you see. Insight into these trends will help you identify the benefits and drawbacks of each methodology (quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods) in relation to your research problem. (Hint: These are also items you will address in Project Two.) As you consider how the methodologies relate to your research problem, answer each of the following: Do you see any trends in the methodology approaches used to study this problem? If so, why do you think that is? If not, why do you think that is? https://youtu.be/mxD8e_l5r8Q
Research Literacy In Social Science.
Are there any methodologies that you are having difficulty finding research studies for? If so, why do you think that is? If not, why do you think that is? Overcoming Challenges Finally, sometimes finding each type of research methodology can be difficult. When all of the research methodologies are not represented, it can limit the research questions you can ask. This is why you will be required to provide an example of each research methodology for your research problem in Project One. As you consider the types of research methods you have found, answer each of the following: How would finding limited research study methodologies also limit the research questions you can ask?
Research Literacy In Social Science.
If you can’t find a type of methodology, what do you think that says about your research problem? How could you potentially still use your chosen research problem and find research studies that use each methodology? What changes might you need to make so you can find examples of each methodology? Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed: Describe the relationship between your chosen research problem and the field of study Evaluate the impact of methodology trends for your chosen research problem Determine how to overcome challenges that impact the development of complex research questions.
