Educational inequality in public schools.

Paper details Its obvious that there are inequalities in the public school system of the us. Somewhere in my reading I came across this metaphor . We can look at public schools as an escalator. Everybody gets on at the same place but some people drop off at different levels along the way. This isn’t a bad metaphor but it’s not really accurate because in our society not everybody starts at the same place , it’s TRUE everybody in our public school system starts let’s say I’m kindergarten but they don’t get on the escalator with the same sets of advantages. for some the escalator rises at a little steeper level.

Educational inequality in public schools.

For this assignment I want you to give me 3 basic causes of the inequalities in our public school system . Write a good topic sentence in your introductory paragraph. Then in subsequent paragraphs, give me some evidence that supports each of the 3 causes that you have chosen. Remember the other topics we have covered this semester : race , criminal justice, political inequality and economic inequality. This your chance to pull alot of stuff together. Think big , think sociologically. https://youtu.be/hYMk3Bk08NA

What is the debate? What are you trying to prove in this essay? Remember a thesis is something that is debatable. Example: The Aztec lived in Mesoamerica (NOT a thesis—not debatable); The Aztec were the most advance civilization in Mesoamerica (a thesis-some scholars may or may not agree with this statement). Next, let the reader know how you are going to prove this thesis? In addition to a clear thesis, your introduction should also include a quick summary of the evidence (the points) you intend to use to prove your thesis.

This is important because it will provide an outline for the body of your paper. 2. Body—proving your thesis. Start out with no more than one or two paragraphs of background information concerning your topic.  https://youtu.be/yQfP2Y2t45U
